Early humans had omega 3 fatty acids in their body because they used to hunt and eat animals which used to eat grass. But now as restrictions got increased only few sources were left to humans such as salmon, herring, mackerel, sardines and anchovies. Tuna also contains omega 3 fatty acids but in lesser quantity. Fish obtain these oils from Algae in their diet. These compounds have very good affect on the human body particularly acne because they secrete compounds which makes hair follicles thinner thereby preventing excessive secretion of sebum. Flax also is an important source for omega 3 fatty acids.
Nutritionists will generally advise that a zinc supplement will act as an acne alternative treatment. The zinc will reduce inflammation and help heal the skin. Some other vitamins that nutritionists may recommend would be Chromium supplements to break down glucose, Vitamin A to reduce sebum and keratin production, Vitamin E that acts like an antioxidant, and Vitamin B-6 to help with hormone metabolism.
Your make up better be oil free- You see wearing oil based make up would only worsen your already bad condition. Try to wear oil free makeup and also make sure that you don't get into bed with make up on as that would negatively affect your acne condition. Wash your face and wipe off the entire make up before you get into bed.
